Zach Braff Wrote the Sweetest Message to Florence Pugh on Her 25th Birthday
"What a gift to the world it was that you were born."
Florence Pugh celebrated her 25th birthday on Sunday and her boyfriend, Zach Braff, posted the sweetest Instagram tribute to her.
“Happy Birthday to the most fun person I’ve ever met,” he wrote. “I would have felt blessed to have smiled with [you] for one night. I can’t believe I get to giggle with you every day. What a pleasure it is to know you. What a gift to the world it was that you were born.”
The post featured a series of photos of the Little Women Star at the Hollywood sign and other shots of the couple together. The 45-year-old Scrubs alum also took to his story to share some more images of his girlfriend, including one of the two cuddling.

The pair's relationship came to light in 2018 when Braff liked one of Pugh’s Instagram posts. Later that year, he posted a photo to Instagram of three of his friends alongside Pugh and captioned it, “People I love.”
The two have spoken out several times about their relationship after receiving criticism on Instagram for their 21-year age gap. In April 2020, Pugh took to Instagram in a video to ask users to stop “bullying” Braff. “The abuse that you throw at him is abuse that you are throwing at me, and I don’t want those followers. I do not want to have to be protecting my comments every time I post a picture of him.”
Pugh added that she was 24-years-old and had been working since she was 17. “I do not need you to tell me who I should and should not love and I would never in my life tell anyone who they can and cannot love. It is not your place.”
While Braff stayed quiet at the time, he recently spoke about it during an interview for Mr Porter. “She literally sat down, hit record on her phone, and said that,” he said. “I thought: how could I possibly follow anything as intelligent and articulate as that? So, I chose not to.”
