Zendaya's red-carpet looks never disappoint.

The Euphoria star made a glamorous virtual appearance for the 2022 NAACP Image Awards, where she was nominated for Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in Malcolm and Marie. For the awards, she embraced vintage Black glamour in couture looks that called back to the legendary Motown girl groups and movie stars of the '50s and '60s.

In a clip shared by her longtime stylist Law Roach, the multi-hyphenate showed off the outfit, strutting past the trophy display at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in LA. She wears white wool coat and gray sequined mini dress, both from Valentino's Anatomy of Couture collection, which both feature diamond embellishments. She completes the look with white pointed-toe stilettos and circular stud earrings, with her hair styled straight with a side part and curled ends.

Z also shared a second look from the night on Instagram, taken with her own camera by photographer Dominic Miller. In the old-fashioned pic, the star poses in a vintage Balmain gown from 1956, strapless with a green bodice and full red skirt. She also wears her hair pulled back, with silver jewelry and classic winged eyeliner finishing the look.

Since becoming the face of Valentino in December 2020, Zendaya has collaborated with the Italian maison on several gorgeous red-carpet looks. Z and Law took a dive into the house's archives for the Euphoria season 2 premiere, with the actor walking the red carpet in a column gown from Valentino's spring/summer 1992 collection, which included thick vertical stripes of black and white, as well as a scalloped neckline. She accessorized simply with a pair of drop earrings, letting the vintage frock pull all our attention.

Roach also dressed the star in custom Valentino Haute Couture for the Los Angeles premiere of Spider-Man: No Way Home last year. The sleek look went explicitly on theme, with the nude backless dress featuring a deep V-neck cut, a high-leg slit, and black spiderwebs embroidered all over. Zendaya also sported long, straight-back cornrows and a custom black feathered mask.

When their partnership was announced, Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli said that he considered the actor a "natural representative of his contemporary concept of romanticism."

"The reason why we chose Zendaya as the new face for Valentino is because she perfectly embodies and represents what Valentino is and stands for, today. She is a powerful and fierce young woman that uses her talent and her work to express herself, her values and her generation as well," the designer explained in a statement.
