Zendaya Just Made History with Her Emmy Win

It's "Emmy winner Zendaya" now.

Zendaya has just made history.

The Euphoria star won an Emmy for her role in the HBO show, making her the youngest drama actress winner in the history of the awards show, all at the age of 24. In her acceptance speech, the actress thanked "the other incredible women in this category" and was visibly emotional as she shouted out her family and team.

"To the incredible cast and crew of Euphoria, I'm so lucky to go to work with you every day and I'm inspired by everything you do," she said.

She also thanked show creator Sam Levinson, adding, "I appreciate you so much, you're my family, I'm so grateful for Rue, I'm so grateful you trusted me with your story."

"This is a really weird time to be celebrating, but I just want to say there is hope in the young people — I know our TV show doesn't always feel like a great example of that but there is hope in the young people, and I just want to say to our peers out there in the streets doing the work, I see you, I thank you, I admire you," she concluded.
