Zendaya Reportedly Negotiates 'Euphoria' Salary to Seven Figures Per Episode
It's a good day to be Zendaya!
Zendaya has reportedly inked a deal for the next season of her hit HBO series Euphoria worth seven figures—per episode!
The news was broken by Puck’s Matthew Belloni, per GQ, who dove into the highest television salaries, including Zendaya, who he said “just closed a big re-negotiation” putting her in the realm of all six actors on the final season of Friends, who each made $1 million per episode.
And so, if season three of Euphoria follows a similar episode order that the first two seasons had, Zendaya will likely take home about eight million dollars in total. It's a stark difference from her costar Sydney Sweeney, who alluded in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter last year that her salary was not enough to get by.

"If I wanted to take a six-month break, I don't have income to cover that," Sweeney explained at the time. "I don't have someone supporting me, I don't have anyone I can turn to, to pay my bills or call for help."
She continued, "The established stars still get paid, but I have to give 5 percent to my lawyer, 10 percent to my agents, 3 percent or something like that to my business manager. I have to pay my publicist every month, and that's more than my mortgage."
However, Zendaya takes home more than just a Euphoria paycheck. The starlet is in high demand, also starring in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Spider-Man as well as Dune, the sequel of which is currently in post-production. She's also an Emmy and Golden Globe winner, and recently took on the role of executive producer for the series—making her the youngest person to ever receive an Emmy nomination for producing—so it's really no wonder that she's successfully negotiating her worth.
