Zendaya Rocked an Afro In Honor of Her Aunts

At this week's InStyle Awards, Zendaya showed up dressed for the occasion looking so, so *stylish*.

She took the red carpet in layer upon layer of rainbow tulle, bright red platforms, and a perfectly spherical afro straight out of the '70s.

It turns out the look actually was '70s-inspired. Z wrote on Instagram that she got the hairstyle from her two aunts, who rocked the look way back when.

Oh, and she was also inspired by activist Angela Davis, of course.
