Zoe Salda?a Wears Tom Ford Chain-Accent Pumps on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’
Zoe Salda?a slipped into a pair of Tom Ford pumps for an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday. The star was promoting her new film, “The Absence of Eden,” but along the way, she also discussed “Avatar 3,” which is already in production.
For the taping, Salda?a opted for ease. Styled by Petra Flannery, she wore a dress over sheer tights from Wolford and patent leather Tom Ford pumps. The tights and pointed-toe pumps mirrored what many were wearing on the front row of the latest Saint Laurent show, which Saldana attended.

While on “Jimmy Fallon,” the actor discussed filming new scenes for “Avatar 3,” a follow-up to the billion-dollar “Avatar: The Way of Water.”
About the shoes
The Tom Ford patent leather chain pump is a fairly classic pump with a stiletto heel. Lined in black leather, the shoe features a golden chain that includes a lobster hook fastening and a small hanging medal engraved with the Tom Ford logo.
The handcrafted shoe has a heel of just over 4 inches.
History of Pumps
Also known as court shoes, the pump hails from the late 18th century. It is a slip-on style that features a low cut front that reveals the top of the foot. The stiletto pump as we know it today, often with its pointed toe, was created by Roger Vivier in 1954.
Tom Ford: Building a Legacy
Before striking out on his own, Tom Ford linked his name with beauty designing for brands like Gucci and and Yves Saint Laurent. In 2005 he began the creation of a brand under his own name, launching first with eyeglass frames and the beauty category. Later came menswear and finally, in 2010, women’s ready-to-wear. His designs often take on a sort of timeless, but bold sex appeal.
In 2023, Ford stepped down from heading the company and was succeeded by current designer Peter Hawkings.
