Spin Straw Into Fun
Paper straw garland is a fun activity for kids and a great decoration for the kid’s playroom or craft room.
Materials:
Nylon Twine
Straws
Scissors
Matches

1. Melt the end of the nylon twine with a match so the thread will not fray.
2. Cut each straw into four equal parts.
3. String three pieces of straw on to the thread.
4. Take the burnt edge of the twine and thread back around the third straw on the twine (the first put on the twine) to create a loop. Pull taut to create a the straw triangle.
5. Slide the triangle down the twine, and start making another triangle.
