Easter Wreaths Don't Get Any More Adorable Than This DIY
As winter slowly gives way to spring, it’s time to dress up your front door with a bright, cheerful Easter wreath, and what says Easter more than a cheeky nod to Peter Cottontail?! A bunny wreath is the only way to go!
We made this particular wreath out of a styrofoam ring and a whole bunch of decorative easter eggs, but you can make any wreath a bunny wreath - that’s what makes this DIY so great! Already have a floral wreath? No problem! Transform it with a pair of ears and a tail, to really make it stand out!
We guarantee you’ll be the double-take on the block and visitors are sure to notice your festive efforts.
So go ahead, put a bunny on it!
Materials:
Styrofoam ring
Green ribbon
Sewing pins
Decorative eggs
Bunny ears and tail
Tools:
Scissors
Hot glue gun
Instructions:
1. Fasten the end of your ribbon to the ring using two pins.
2. Wrap the entire ring tightly in ribbon and secure the end of it with two more pins.
3. Glue your decorative eggs onto the ribbon-covered ring.
Don’t worry about covering every little exposed area - that’s why you covered the ring with beautiful ribbon.
4. Glue your bunny ears to the back of the wreath at the top.
5. Glue the bunny tail on to the front of the wreath at the bottom.
6. Cut a short piece of ribbon, make a loop and pin it to the back of the wreath at the top so you can hang it.
