Treehouses immediately evoke memories of childhood play time, where your arboreal abode set the stage for make believe fun. The Atlantic posted a documentary profiling people who have taken the leap into living in such an unconventional domicile. Michael Garnier, the owner of “Out ‘N’ About Treehouse Treesort”, has been constructing tree houses for over 25 years. At the time, treehouses were anything but the norm, and with the lack of existing regulations, it ended up taking him 8 years to obtain the correct permits.
