A Heart-Filled Valentine Apron For Your Favorite Chef
Valentine’s Day is all about sweets and baked goods. From cupcakes to candies, the most romantic holiday of the year is all about spending time together and creating delicious treats for your special someone.
If you’re going to be baking for someone, or perhaps getting together with friends to have a cupcake decorating session, why not spend that time in the kitchen feeling and looking a little festive.
Check out all of our Valentine’s Day content here.
All you need is a pencil, a cloth napkin and a little paint. If you don’t have an extra cloth napkin lying around, pick up a plain one at a discount store or IKEA - that way your apron won’t set you back more than $10 or so.

This apron also makes a great gift for that friend of yours who shows up to every party with a big smile and a tray of treats.
Materials:
Large cloth Napkin
Ribbon
Cardstock
Fabric paint
Stitch Witch (Iron on Adhesive tape)
Tools:
Scissors
Pencil with eraser top
Dish for paint
Instructions:
1. Center napkin edge to the ribbon to create a waistband with ties, then iron it in place with a little Stitch Witch
2. Cut out a heart from card stock.
3. Place the heart on the apron, dip a pencil into a small amount of paint and begin stamping the eraser around the heart. Re-dip eraser into paint as needed. Let the apron dry.
Here’s a hint: Work your paint heaviest around the rim of the heart and let it get lighter as it moves away from the stencil. Stamp your eraser with paint as many times as you can before re-dipping. The lighter stamps will create the feeling of the heart growing outward.
