Put a Little Extra Love in Your Valentine Meal
If you are putting together a little Valentine’s Day fete, of any size, why not amp up the place setting elegance with these romantic little silverware envelopes? They’re an easy way to show you put a little extra love into the meal. And isn’t that what Valentine’s Day is all about? We think so!
If you want to add a little more pizzazz to these roll-ups, hand-stitch the sides with a large needle and colorful embroidery thread.

Materials
Black Vinyl Fabric
Wide Pink Ribbon
Silver Brads
Tools
Scissors
Plastic / Waterproof Glue
Hole Punch

For each envelope, cut the fabric in a long rectangular shape, about three times the length that you’ll want your finished envelope. (Since you’re using vinyl, you don’t have to worry about the edges fraying.)
Fold up the bottom of the fabric, creating a pocket for the silverware. Ensure that you have enough room for the silverware to fit inside the pocket. Seal the edges of the pocket with plastic glue.
Attach the ribbon to the center of the inside of the flap using plastic glue. To this this, tuck and glue the end of the ribbon inside the top of the pocket and continue turning the ribbon up the inside of the flap, tracing with glue in spots.
Flip the top over and truck the unfinished edge under to create a finished seam. Hold the loop in place and pin it down with a silver brad (create the hold for the brad with a hole punch), going through the fabric and top layers of ribbon.
