Flower Font DIY Is the Best Way to Spell L-O-V-E

Spell it out loud!  What a lovely touch for the holiday season.  Your words will have more ‘life’ when you say it this way. Make a word with one powerful letter in flowers, and then listen.

Materials:

• Cardboard (cardboard boxes)

• Plastic trash bag

• Oasis floral sponge

• Fresh Flowers

• Potting Soil

• Spray glue

Tools:

• Utility knife

• Hot glue gun

• Round dish

• Table knife

• Water in pitcher

• Large Flat tray or area to spread potting soil

Instructions:
1. Cut out your letters from the cardboard using the brick of oasis as your length and width guide- the round dish helps with any curves

2. Hot glue the oasis bricks to the letters – except for one
3. Trim any oasis to make the letter shape
4. One the letter that you will put the fresh flowers- hot glue a trash bag to cover the whole letter, trim away excess
5. Hot glue oasis to the letter with plastic, trim
6. Gently pour water into the oasis with the plastic- the one flower letter- until all moist

7. Trim flowers to have about 2” stems and push into the moist oasis, covering the whole letter including the sides

8. One at a time, spray the rest of the letters with spray glue and press into the pan of potting soil until covered completely including the sides.
9. Lean your letters against the wall or on the table
