All Four New 'Ghostbusters' Stars Hung Out at the 'SNL' Afterparty
With the amount of star-power that was in the room at the Saturday Night Live 40th anniversary show after-party, it’s good to know they were well-protected from any ghosts, UFOs, clairvoyants, spirit photographers, telekinetic movements, full-trance mediums, and even the Loch Ness monster.
Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy and SNL stars Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon — the four newly minted stars of the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot, met up amidst the madness of the celebrity-filled blowout — giving us our first look at the new team together.
There’s already plenty of strong ties between the foursome: Wiig and McCarthy, of course, co-starred in Bridesmaids, while Wiig and McKinnon overlapped as SNL cast members for one season. Jones joined SNL after Wiig left, but clearly, director Paul Feig’s new cast is gelling quite well.

Jones also met up with original Ghostbusters Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd; we like to think that the two veterans imparted some ghost-fighting wisdom on the new member of the team.
The photos above are just two of many star-studded shots that Jones posted on Twitter from her night at the SNL after-party. In fact, the Ghostbusters family picture was one of four snaps in what might be the swaggiest tweet of all time; also included were photos with Beyonce, Rihanna and Kanye West.
The new Ghostbusters, which is being written by The Heat’s Katie Dippold, hits theaters in 2016.
