Gal Gadot Shares 'Wonder Woman' Photo as Filming Begins

“Almost 75 years in the making… #WonderWoman is underway,” tweeted Gadot, along with one of the first photos released of the actress as the DC Comics superhero.
Gal Gadot is adding to her fans’ building anticipation for the 2017 release of Warner Bros.’ superhero movie Wonder Woman.
The actress, who will star in the Patty Jenkins-directed film, gave fans a sneak peek of herself as the title character in a Twitter photo Friday night as Warner Bros. announced the start of filming on the production.

“Almost 75 years in the making… #WonderWoman is underway,” Gadot captioned the photo, which shows her cloaked and standing in front of London’s Big Ben.
Gadot as Wonder Woman will first appear in next year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder had previously shared a Wonder Woman photo at Comic-Con in 2014 when Ben Affleck (Batman), Henry Cavill (Superman), and Gadot made an appearance at the Warner Bros. panel.
