Dressed in their 1940s best, Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg were spotted kissing on the set of Woody Allen’s latest movie. Friends and frequent collaborators, the duo shared a tender smooch (pictured below) and embrace for a scene shot on a Central Park bridge on Wednesday in New York City.

The plot for the still-untitled film remains unknown. In September, Stewart told The Hollywood Reporter she was sworn to secrecy when it came to any details about the project, though she did say of her character, “I’ve never played anyone like this. She’s quite buoyant and exemplifies lightness. People usually cast me to be the silent, quiet type."

The Twilight star, 25, and The Social Network star, 32, were also spotted on the New York City set in late August wearing different, more casual, period clothes. (see below)

This isn’t Stewart and Eisenberg’s first time getting romantic onscreen. Just this summer, they played a stoner couple trying to outwit a covert government operation in the action-comedy American Ultra. And of course, their characters wind up together at the end of the 2009 amusement park dramedy Adventureland.

"We’re drawn to similar things,” said Stewart to Collider while promoting Ultra in August. “When people try to forge these relationships onscreen that are very clearly the opposite of how they feel, it comes across. We’re genuinely true friends.” In the same interview, Eisenberg mentioned that Allen is actually a fan of Adventureland, which might have been one of the reasons they were cast.

The ensemble Woody Allen film, set to open sometime next year, also stars Steve Carell, Blake Lively, Anna Camp, Corey Stoll, Parker Posey, Judy Davis, among others.
