Leslie Jones Tweets Marvel-ous 'Captain America: Civil War' Commentary
Leslie Jones loves Twitter, to the point that — even after abusive and racist comments began bombarding her account over this past summer’s Ghostbusters — she returned. Her enthusiastic Olympics-related posts struck such a chord that NBC brought her to Rio to help cover the games. And now, it’ll be no surprise if the SNL cast member gets Marvel’s attention, thanks to some choice (and mildly NSFW) commentary about its most recent blockbuster.

Two nights ago, Jones sat down to watch Captain America: Civil War, and decided to post her running commentary about the summer blockbuster to her 594,000 followers. That included video clips and opinions, beginning with her outright enthusiasm for Joe and Anthony Russo’s sequel.
Um am I crazy or is this movie AWESOME!! Captan America civil war!!

Her excitement really revved up, however, when Marvel’s latest addition to the Avengers roster made his first appearance.

at 1st I was like "are they arresting Capt. Amer?!" Then when I saw him I was like man fuck Capt America. Cat Dude! pic.twitter.com/uDmdUdjgOD

The film’s enormous cast of characters soon became a bit bewildering for Jones, who — like many moviegoers — found it tough keeping up with Marvel’s ever-growing superhero population.
Wait spider man is part of avengers I'm so confused you guys

Still, she had particular love for Paul Rudd’s diminutive good guy.
Ant man is dope!!

And considerable hate for the man who pitted Chris Evans’ Captain America against Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man.

To be clear about which side of the comic book studio divide Jones is on, she ended her evening with a dig at Marvel’s rival, DC.
Now I rem hearing this fight between batman and superman but what about Capt America and ironman. That was asskicking 101!!

Whether this tweetstorm lands her a call from Marvel for Avengers: Infinity War remains to be seen. Nonetheless, considering that the Russo brothers’ forthcoming effort could feature upwards of 60 superpowered characters (but probably not), we have to hope there’s room for Jones somewhere in the mix.
