Mark Ruffalo Bids Farewell to 'Thor: Ragnarok' With Set Pics
At the recently wrapped San Diego Comic-Con, Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi premiered a humorous short video that detailed what Chris Hemsworth’s Norse God of Thunder has been up to since Avengers: Age of Ultron. (The answer, apparently, is that he moved in with a Connect Four-loving new roommate named Darryl.) Luckily, his latest intergalactic outing has otherwise proceeded on schedule, and to celebrate the end of his own work on the project, Mark Ruffalo – a.k.a. The Incredible Hulk – has uploaded a series of new photos from the set.
Over on his personal Instagram page, Ruffalo – following up an earlier giant-handed video from the set – has debuted a number of snapshots from his time spent on the heavily hyped Marvel sequel, in which his not-so-jolly green giant and Hemsworth’s hammer-wielding hero will join forces.
First is a behind-the-scenes image of Hemsworth standing beside an enormous white shirt.

And lastly, a snarling forehead-to-forehead portrait of Ruffalo with his supremely angry Marvel alter ego.

While Ruffalo’s time on Thor: Ragnarok is done, production continues on the third installment in the Thor series, which will co-star Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum and Tessa Thompson. It premieres in theaters on November 3, 2017.
