Captain America is coming home.

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the patriotic superhero — and, as of the character’s current comic book, Hydra agent — Marvel Entertainment and parent company Disney will unveil a 13-foot-tall bronze Captain America statue at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, which will then be toured around the nation before arriving at its final destination, Brooklyn’s Prospect Park.

The statue will feature the hero holding his shield aloft, with an inscription reading, “I’m just a kid from Brooklyn” — a line uttered by Chris Evans’ cinematic version of the character in Marvel Studios’ Captain America: The First Avenger.

Paul Gitter, senior vice president of licensing for Marvel at Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media, told USA Today that the statue will inspire fans to “think back to a favorite comic book, treasured action figure or even be transported back to a special time and place in their lives where Captain America’s values played influence.”

In addition to the full-size statue, which will receive a dedication ceremony on Aug. 10 in Prospect Park, Comicave Studios — a Singapore-based company that has worked with Marvel, Hasbro, and other brands to create high-end collectibles — will release smaller versions of the figure in limited editions of bronze and pewter replicas.

San Diego Comic-Con will run July 21-24 at the San Diego Convention Center, with the Preview Night taking place July 20.
