New Vulture Action Figure Gives Us Best Look Yet at Michael Keaton's 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' Villain
Last night’s Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer offered some quick glimpses of the film’s lead villain, Michael Keaton’s Vulture — or as Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark dubs him, the Flying Monster Guy.
Now, Hasbro has unveiled its forthcoming 6-inch-scale Flying Monster Guy action figure from the toy maker’s highly detailed, finely sculpted, fully articulated Marvel Legends line. And the toy version (first shown on Comic Book Resource) gives us an even better idea of the winged suit Keaton’s character wears. (Alas, the helmet is not removeable, so you can’t compare it to your circa 1989 Keaton-styled Batman.)
To build the figure, officially called “Vulture’s Flight Gear,” you’ll need to collect the other characters in the Homecoming line, each of which comes with different Vulture parts. The not-yet-revealed figures will be released in the spring for $19.99 apiece. The Homecoming movie is due in theaters July 7, so you can bring your toys along for the ride.
Meanwhile, Hasbro also showed off its new Legends figures from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, also arriving on shelves in the spring: Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord, Michael Rooker’s Yondu, and Dave Bautista’s Drax the Destoyer. (The figures were initially debuted on Nerdist earlier Friday.)
Guardians 2 comes out April 25.
