The Rock's Instagram Post Calls Out ‘Candy Asses’ Among His Male ‘Fast 8’ Co-Stars
Warning: The above video has some NSFW language.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s government agent Luke Hobbs may be an inmate in Fast 8, but as evidenced by a new Instagram post, he’s taking no prisoners — both with other characters in the film, and also with his male co-stars.
In a video posted to the star’s social-media account, Johnson can be seen tossing a hapless prison guard into the top of a doorway — using just one arm. It’s a stunning display of strength even for the muscular actor with the stellar career as a wrestler. However, even more jaw-dropping than this fearsome feat (which comes on the heels of his grenade-tossing clip from last week) was the message that accompanied the video, in which Johnson seemed to be calling out some of his male cast mates in this chapter of the wildly successful series.

“This is my final week of shooting #FastAndFurious8. There’s no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one. An incredible hard working crew. UNIVERSAL has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ’em. My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken s— to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling — you’re right. Bottom line is it’ll play great for the movie and fits this Hobbs character that’s embedded in my DNA extremely well. The producer in me is happy about this part. Final week on FAST 8 and I’ll finish strong.

Time to start looking at the roster of male actors in the Fast 8 cast and guessing who The Rock is lining up for a “Loser Leave Town” match, like in his WWE days? Or, maybe the star’s “candy asses” insult is simply a joke intended to refer to his rag-doll adversary in the above clip? Still, if reports begin pouring in about on-set injuries involving any other male participants in the shoot, we guess The Rock will now be suspect #1.
