Stunning new trailer for 'Star Wars' spin-off 'The Mandalorian' dials up the action
Anyone still on the fence over whether they're more excited about The Mandalorian than they are about The Rise of Skywalker has probably just had their minds made up.
The new trailer for the Disney+ flagship series, directed by Jon Favreau, just landed, and it's jammed with action, intrigue and – praise be – Werner Herzog.

In what appears to be some truly inspired casting, the German director, actor, documentary maker, screenwriter and author paints a vivid picture behind the images on screen, his stilted, unmistakable delivery creating a brilliantly uncomfortable atmosphere.
Pedro Pascal's lone gunslinger, 'the best bounty hunter in the parsec', is then seen lassoing wanted aliens (and other rampant creatures), before freezing them in carbonite.
“Bounty hunting is a complicated profession,” says Herzog, his character still unknown to us.
Let's hope so.
A handful of critics saw a sneak half-hour preview of the first episode, and flooded Twitter with rave reviews last week.
Also starring MMA fighter Gina Carano as a former Rebel Shock Trooper-turned-mercenary, Giancarlo Esposito as a former 'Moff' with the Empire and Carl Weathers as the head of the guild of bounty hunters (we also get a brief look at stand-up comedian Bill Burr's unnamed outlaw), this looks pretty special.

Though when we'll see it in the UK remains to be seen.
Disney+ won't be launching in the UK on November 12, as it does in the UK, so we'll keep you posted on how you might be able to watch it.
