Treat Yourself to Kevin Pollak's Impression of Christopher Walken on Halloween Night
Kevin Pollak has a whole arsenal of celebrity impressions, several of which he busted out during a recent Role Recall interview with Yahoo Movies. There was his Casino costar Robert De Niro, his Indian Summer costar Alan Arkin, and his A Few Good Men costar Jack Nicholson.
But nothing beats Pollak’s impersonation of one of the most frequently impersonated people on Earth, Christopher Walken. Pollak has never worked directly with the Deer Hunter Oscar winner (though both appeared in Wayne’s World 2), but he explained to us (watch above) that he was still invited to speak at Walken’s hand- and footprint ceremony at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood in 2004.
“I had never met Christopher Walken,” Pollak said. “Quentin Tarantino was the other speaker. That makes sense — they worked together [in Pulp Fiction]. Why am I there? Ah, because I do an impersonation of him.”
It’s then that Pollak broke into the impression he did in front of Walken — of the actor greeting children who’ve come to his door on Halloween night.
Pollak calls the art of impersonation a “parlor trick,” but trust us, this one is a treat.
