'Zoolander 2' Teaser: Ben Stiller Gives Us Some Blue Steel
“In the beginning there was nothing…an infinite void,” intones the Stephen Hawking-esque computerized voice that narrates the epic first teaser for the fashion-world sequel Zoolander 2. (Watch it above.) If we’re describing infinite voids, we must be talking about the mind of legendary male model Derek Zoolander, right?

The narrator then takes us on a tour through the Big Bang, the mysteries of the cosmos, and the miracle of life itself before finally landing on the piercing Blue Steel gaze of Derek (Ben Stiller) who asks, “If God exists, then why did he make ugly people?” Cue the Frankie Goes to Hollywood!
Zoolander 2, which is due to hit theaters in February 2016, is the long-in-the-works sequel to the 2001 cult comedy about rival male models Derek Zoolander and Hansel McDonald (Owen Wilson). Wilson is also returning for the follow-up which will find our pretty boys washed up in Europe years after their handsome heydays. Stiller (who’s also directing) and Wilson will be joined by a cast that includes Kristen Wiig, Justin Bieber, Fred Armisen, Penélope Cruz, Billy Zane, and Will Ferrell, reprising his role as the villainous fashion mogul Mugatu.
We’re not sure how our guys Derek and Hansel are going to handle the modern fashion world. But if their trip down the catwalk in March during Paris Fashion Week is any indication, we’d say they haven’t lost a step.
