Looks That Kill: 'Drag Race' Winner Violet Chachki Teams With Tommy Lee for Racy Music Video
Come through! Violet Chachki, the fiercest fashionista since Season 3’s Raja to grace the RuPaul’s Drag Race runway, has just been named America’s latest drag superstar. And of course, she has wasted no time in starting her musical career. But this particular queen is getting some help from a rock ‘n’ roll king: Motley Crue bad boy Tommy Lee, who co-wrote and co-produced her debut single, “Bettie.”
By violetchachki Bettie - coming June 2nd on iTunes I wrote this killer track for Violet! Go GET IT!! https://t.co/ToLK6Ir6cm

The resulting NSFW video definitely looks like it was shot in a “theatre of pain,” if you catch my drift.
Yes, 50 Shades of Grey ain’t got nuthin’ on 50 shades of Violet, who rocks a pinup-inspired wardrobe of leather, latex, and not much else in her S&M-themed clip. (Season 7 Drag Race runner-up Pearl also makes an appearance, in a French maid’s uniform, acting as submissive as Violet’s many secret, shackled suitors.)
Tommy Lee doesn’t show up in the video, but considering that there are more leather codpieces, chains, spikes, and studs in “Bettie” than in Motley Crue’s “Live Wire,” he surely must approve. Violet’s debut EP, GAGGED, is available on iTunes June 2.
