1 in custody after police chase involving Amazon delivery truck in Gaston County
GASTON COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A suspect is in custody following a police chase involving an Amazon truck, Gaston County Communications confirmed with Queen City News.
Law enforcement responded to calls regarding the incident around 11:47 a.m. Thursday, June 27. The chase ended in the area of Mariposa Road at Alexis Lucia Road in Stanley.

The suspect dumped the vehicle and ran into the woods before they were taken into custody.
It is unclear at this time if the Amazon truck was stolen. QCN is working to learn more details.
