1 dead, 4 hurt in Saturday morning shooting: I-Team
EAST CLEVELAND (WJW) — East Cleveland Police Chief Ken Lundy confirms to Fox 8 News that five people were shot early Saturday morning, and three people were taken in for questioning.
Couple charged with plotting $147K armed robbery at Euclid Marc’s
Lundy told the Fox 8 I-Team one person died at the scene and four other victims were taken to a hospital after being shot near Euclid Avenue and Taylor Road around 5:00 a.m. Lundy did not know the conditions of the other four.
Crime scene investigators were still at the scene hours after the shooting. Evidence markers were seen on the sidewalk and police tape blocked off a portion of the street and sidewalk.
“These type of gatherings, obviously the propensity of something bad happening is pretty high, especially 5 o’clock in the morning, it’s trouble,” said Lundy. “Nothing good is going to happen at that time in the morning.”
