1 hurt after Baton Rouge shooting Thursday, officials say

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — One person was taken to a local hospital after a shooting in Baton Rouge on Thursday, July 25.

Baton Rouge emergency medical services officials said one person was sent to the hospital after a shooting near Airline Highway and Greenwell Street. EMS said the person was in critical condition.

BRProud has reached out to the Baton Rouge Police Department for more information. This is a developing story.

Officials also responded to another shooting on Thursday near North 35th Street and Gus Young Avenue.
