1 injured in ‘targeted’ shooting in Dunkirk
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — One person was injured in what police are calling a “targeted” shooting in Dunkirk on Wednesday night.
Police responded to the 300 block of Washington Avenue around 6:50 p.m. Wednesday, where one person had been shot.
The victim was transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital by private vehicle and then transferred to ECMC with non-life threatening injuries. Police said it appears that the incident was between people who know each other.
