1 killed in overnight fire in Orleans County

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — One person was killed in a fire in Orleans County early Monday morning, according to the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office.

Crews responded to 1850 Sawyer Road in the Town of Carlton around 3:40 a.m. Monday. At the location, a house trailer, two sheds, and two vehicles were on fire.

The person who died, who has not yet been identified, was found in the house. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
