1 sent to hospital in critical condition after shooting in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — One person was sent to the hospital after a shooting in Baton Rouge on Thursday, July 25.

Baton Rouge emergency medical services officials said they responded to a shooting near North 35th Street and Gus Young Avenue. One person was sent to the hospital in critical condition.

Further details on the shooting and the victim were not immediately available. BRProud has reached out to the Baton Rouge Police Department for more information.
