1 stabbed, 1 suffers 'severe facial injuries' at Dewey Beach bar northbeach

One man was severely injured and another stabbed at Northbeach bar and restaurant in Dewey Beach early Friday.

Police responded to 125 McKinley Ave. just after 1 a.m. and found two men, both from Millsboro, had been injured. A 23-year-old had been stabbed in the shoulder, while a 25-year-old was "lying on the ground with severe facial injuries, bleeding profusely," a Dewey Beach Police Department news release said.

Dewey Beach Police Department spokesman Lt. Cliff Dempsey said the facial injuries were caused by blunt force trauma.

Both men were taken to a hospital and are in stable condition, police said.
