'The 100' actress Marie Avgeropoulos arrested for domestic violence
Marie Avgeropoulos, an actress who stars on CW’s “The 100,” was arrested on a felony charge last week in Glendale, California, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department inmate records.
The 32-year-old actress, who plays Octavia Blake on the post-apocalyptic series, was taken into custody by Glendale Police on Aug. 5. She was released later that morning on $50,000 bail, records show.
Avgeropoulos was charged with domestic violence after officers responded to a report of a possible assault, Glendale Police Sergeant Dan Suttles told USA TODAY.
She is expected to be arraigned in Los Angeles County Superior Court Sept. 17. If convicted, she faces up to 364 days in county jail.
In a booking photo obtained by USA TODAY, the actress can be seen with tears falling down her face.
Avgeropoulos' representative declined to comment on the arrest.
The Canadian-Greek actress was romantically linked to her "Traces" co-star Taylor Lautner in 2013. Her acting credits include "The Inbetweeners," "90210" and "Cult."
