13-year-old injured after overnight shooting in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 13-year-old boy was struck by gunfire early Sunday morning near the area of Buffalo’s Allentown neighborhood, Buffalo police said.

Officers responded to the call just before 2 a.m., as police said the male victim arrived at Buffalo General Hospital in a civilian vehicle after being shot in the vicinity of Main and High Streets.

The teen was then transferred by ambulance to Oishei Children’s Hospital where he was taken into surgery, authorities said.
