15 agencies respond to fire inside of a Wisconsin strip mall
JACKSON, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities say crews from 15 different agencies responded to a fire Saturday night inside of a Wisconsin strip mall.
According to a release from the Jackson Fire Department, firefighters responded at 11:01 p.m. to reports of a fire inside a strip mall on Eagle Drive in the Village of Jackson.
Upon arrival, officials say heavy fire was seen coming from the back of the strip mall but they were able to quickly get it extinguished to keep it from going into the attic of the building.
The unit where the fire had started was said to have substantial damage and adjoining units had water and smoke damage.

No one was inside the building at the time of the fire so no civilians were hurt however three firefighters were reported to have gotten minor injuries during the incident.
15 different agencies assisted in dealing with the fire including the Jackson Fire Department, Allenton Fire Department, Cedarburg Fire Department, Germantown Fire Department, Hartford Fire Department, Jackson Police Department, Lifestar Ambulance, Newburg Fire Department, Slinger Fire Department, St. Lawrence Fire Department, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Washington County Sheriff’s Dispatch, WE Energies, West Bend Fire Department, and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
At this time, no other information is available and an investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
