18-wheeler fire causes traffic delays on I-10 westbound in Kenner

KENNER, La. (WGNO) — Traffic heading westbound on Interstate 10 in Kenner is slowed due to an 18-wheeler fire on Friday, Aug. 16.

Kenner police report officers are on the scene and working to put out the fire on the westbound on-ramp at Williams Boulevard.

The westbound side of the interstate at Williams Boulevard was restricted to one lane after the crash. All lanes are now open, but drivers are facing “significant” delays, according to Kenner police.
