6 hurt in four separate Buffalo shootings

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Six people were hurt in four separate shootings around Buffalo early Sunday morning, according to Buffalo police.

Police responded to the first shooting on the first block of Roetzer Street just after midnight Sunday, where a 19-year-old woman had been shot in the foot during a fight at a large block party in the area. She was transported by civilian vehicle to Sisters of Charity Hospital to be treated.

The second shooting occurred at the Rite Aid on Elmwood Avenue near Bryant Avenue around 2:30 a.m. Sunday. Two males, a 33-year-old and a 30-year-old, were shot while in the parking lot. Both were transported to ECMC to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The third shooting occurred just after 4 a.m. in the vicinity of Woodlawn Avenue and Dupont Street, where two people, a 25-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, were shot during a large street party. They were both transported to ECMC to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The fourth shooting occurred at 6 a.m. at East Ferry and Zenner Street. A 52-year-old man was shot in his side. He sustained non-life threatening injuries.
