2 arrests made in separate stabbings in Buffalo
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two people have been arrested in connection to two separate stabbings earlier this fall, Buffalo police said Tuesday.
Both arrests were made on Nov. 14.
In the first stabbing, 20-year-old Lawrence Allen of Buffalo is accused of stabbing a 59-year-old man in the torso multiple times during an altercation on Dartmouth Avenue on the evening of Sept. 20. Police said the incident happened due to a phone that was taken.
Allen is charged with second-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and petit larceny. The man was transported to ECMC to be treated.
In the second stabbing, Megan Geary, 39, is accused of entering the home of a 28-year-old woman and stabbing her in the arm and chest in the early morning hours of Nov. 2. The woman was transported to ECMC to be treated. The two knew each other.
She is charged with one count of second-degree assault.
