1 dead, 1 hospitalized after vehicle crashes into tree in Buffalo
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — One person is dead and another suffered multiple injuries after a vehicle struck a tree Saturday night in Buffalo’s Black Rock neighborhood, police officials announced.
Police said a Honda sedan was traveling eastbound on Arthur Street toward Tonawanda Street just after 10 p.m. when the vehicle left the road and crashed into a tree.
A 30-year-old Buffalo woman was declared dead at the scene while a 28-year-old Buffalo man was transported by ambulance to ECMC where he is currently in the ICU, according to police.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
