2 women accused of shooting their boyfriends in separate incidents: MPD
MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Two women were arrested Wednesday after they shot their boyfriends in separate incidents, according to the Mobile Police Department.
Officers were called to the 2100 block of Gibson Street around 11 a.m. for a report of a shooting, according to the MPD news release.

When they arrived, officers found that a man had allegedly been shot during a fight with his girlfriend. 34-year-old April Lynn York was arrested and charged with first-degree domestic violence.
Later on Wednesday, around 8 p.m., officers were called to the 2300 block of Brackett Drive for a report of a shooting.

When officers got to that scene, they found that another woman had allegedly shot her boyfriend during an argument, according to the release.
33-year-old Brittany Amber Laabs was arrested and charged with first-degree domestic violence.
