20 years later, West End murder case remains unsolved
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — On July 16, 2004, John MacLellan was walking home in the West End neighborhood when he was confronted by a robber who shot him six times. He was hospitalized and endured multiple surgeries. About six weeks after the attack, MacLellan died following one of those surgeries.
20 years later, the murder remains unsolved. It’s the latest case to roll on the Wheel of Justice.
