2023 Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival lineup announced

The lineup for the Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival has been announced.

Twenty-one artists will play in the festival including several Grammy winners like Gregory Porter and PJ Morton and Rock-N-Roll Hall of Famers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.

Morton will play at 7:15 p.m. on Sept. 16 and Porter will play on Sept. 17 at 8:45 p.m. Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis will play at 8:45 p.m. on Sept 16.

Several local musicians will also perform, including Howie Alexander from Wilkinsburg and saxophonist Chelsea Baratz from Pittsburgh.

Alexander performs at 1 p.m. on Sept. 16. and Baratz plays at the same time on the following day.

This will mark the 13th year the jazz festival is held and will run from Sept 14-17.

Tickets are available on the Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival website. Members can purchase their tickets on May 8 and they will be available to the public on May 12.
