47 states offer free ballot tracking services using the barcode on your envelope which allows you to confirm if your ballots have been mailed received and counted.

If you suspect your ballot might have been lost or damaged.

Call your local election office to check on the status and ensure your vote makes it in on time.

Even though these incidents are serious.

Experts say drop boxes are still one of the most secure ways to cast your ballot since most of them are tamper proof bolted to the ground and under 24 hour surveillance.
