If it feels like we just celebrated the Emmys — it's because we did, due to the postponement of last year's show to Monday, Jan. 15 on account of the strikes. (Here's a recap of what happened on that eventful night, from the fashion to the moving acceptance speeches — we're looking at you, Niecy Nash — to why one of our writers believes the Emmys "desperately need a 'dramedy' category.")

Now that the 76th television awards have relocated back to its September time slot — the show co-hosted by Eugene and Dan Levy will air on Sunday, Sept. 15 at 5 p.m. PT on ABC — the industry is ready to celebrate with the annual roster of Emmy parties, benefits, gifting lounges and festivities. Here's what's on tap.

Chain x 'People' Magazine's 50th Anniversary

Actor, director and foodie B.J. Novak's Chain — which started as a pop-up in 2022 and now has a permanent East Side home — serves Michelin-starred chef Tim Hollingsworth's takes on chain restaurant classics. On the heels of last month's Chain Pizza Skillet Social and as it gears up for the second annual ChainFEST, Chain will kick off Emmys weekend with a tasty event at the Chain House celebrating People's 50th Anniversary.

'The Hollywood Reporter' x SAG-AFTRA’s Emmy Nominees Night

At this fifth annual event, THR and SAG-AFTRA will toast this year’s Emmy nominees from a private residence in the Hollywood Hills — with help from sponsors Glenfiddich, Heineken and Shake Shack.

BAFTA TV Tea Party

Rather than two separate events for film and TV (in Jan. and Sept., respectively), last year, BAFTA (the British Academy of Film and Television Arts) held one joint tea party celebrating talent from the big and small screens. This year, not only will there be a separate TV tea party, at the Maybourne Beverly Hills from 2-5 p.m. — which there hasn't been for four years for various reasons (from the pandemic to the Queen's death to the strikes) — but BAFTA North America will also be throwing an inaugural New York Tea Party. This debut event on Sunday, Oct. 6 at the Pierre is presented in conjunction with the New York Film Festival.

“The addition of the New York Tea marks an exciting new chapter for us as we continue to expand our work and presence, and cultivate our community,” said chair of BAFTA North America Joyce Pierpoline. For more info on BAFTA, visit bafta.org.

Tory Burch x 'Glamour' Annual Luncheon

Also on Saturday, Tory Burch is once again teaming up with Glamour for a private lunch during Emmys weekend honoring women in television — some of whom will be sporting looks from the vibrant fashion brand. Last year's guest list included Elizabeth Debicki, Rachel Brosnahan, Jessica Williams, Padma Lakshmi, Dominique Fishback, Aja Naomi King and Hannah Waddingham.

MPTF's 18th Annual Evening Before

The Motion Picture & Television Fund (MPTF) supports the entertainment community through financial assistance, crisis counseling, caregiving support and residency on the Wasserman Campus in Woodland Hills — and one of their biggest annual fundraisers is the evening before party.

The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards

The Television Academy's biggest night — hosted by father-son duo and Schitt's Creek stars Eugene and Dan Levy — will air live on ABC from the Peacock Theater at L.A. Live in DTLA from 5-8 p.m. PT (8-11 p.m. ET). The live show is set to air on ABC and stream next day on Hulu. Here's a refresher on this year's nominations (favorites like The Bear, Hacks, Only Murders in the Building and Abbott Elementary will square off for best comedy series; shows including Shogun, The Crown, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Slow Horses and The Morning Show are in the running for best drama; and the limited series race includes Baby Reindeer, True Detective: Night Country, Fargo, Ripley and Lessons in Chemistry).

Disney After-Party

After a quick stop at the Govornor's Gala, awards-goers in Downtown L.A. last year migrated to nearby restaurant Otium at the Broad museum, where guests from Disney Entertainment — including included Abbott Elementary's Quinta Brunson, and The Bear's Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri — celebrated their 37 wins. This year, Disney is toasting 183 Emmy nominations (across FX, ABC, Hulu, Disney+ and more) at the Music Center.

HBO | Max After-Party

The starry party that for years was held at private setup at the Pacific Design Center moved a few years ago to West Hollywood's San Vicente Bungalows, the al fresco private members club. Last year proved to be a Succession reunion — with trophy-toting stars Sarah Snook and Kieran Culkin congregating in the middle — and other guests from shows like The White Lotus and The Last of Us mingling late into the night. This year's bash at the Bungalows is sure to be just as glitzy, given HBO's 91 nominations across 29 programs.
