Gold Derby has long been the place to predict Hollywood races (whether it’s the Oscars or the Emmys or reality TV shows), but now we’re dipping our toes into politics. Will current Vice President Kamala Harris prevail on Tuesday, November 5? Or will former President Donald Trump pull out a victory? Make your 2024 Presidential Election predictions right now!

In our predictions center, you’ll be tasked with answering 52 questions in all. The first 50 are state-based (which candidate will win the total number of electoral votes in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, etc.), plus who will win the popular vote and who will win the electoral college? The three possible answers for each question will be “Kamala Harris,” “Donald Trump,” or “Other/NA.” (Note that Nebraska and Maine use a different method of distributing their tallies, so in those two cases you’ll be predicting who will win the majority of electoral votes.)

Kamala Harris and Donald Trump faced off in a single televised debate on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. In that ABC News special event, the former California Attorney General and Senator and the former New York businessman and “The Apprentice” host offered up their differing visions of the future. Our sister website Variety called the debate “fiery” and noted how both candidates “met for a fierce clash … debating topics like abortion and immigration.”

Harris’ official 2024 campaign slogan is “A New Way Forward,” while Trump’s mantra is once again “Make America Great Again.” This is Trump’s third time running for President after winning in 2016 against Hillary Clinton and losing in 2020 against Joe Biden. Biden decided not to run for a second term in July, and V.P. Harris soon gained the support she needed to earn her party’s nomination at the Democratic National Convention.
