22 people arrested in Mobile Police’s ‘Operation Cleaning the Corridor’
MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A three-month investigation ended with 22 arrests, seven search warrants issued and two guns seized, according to the Mobile Police Department.
Officials said they seized multiple drugs including crack cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana and illegal prescription drugs.

MPD officers also made arrests for prostitution along Highway 90 in connection with the operation.
“Operation Cleaning The Corridor was conducted after receiving numerous complaints from residents living in the Highway 90 area, which spans across adjacent neighborhoods connected to this community,” read the MPD news release.
Six of the 22 arrested were targeted; the other arrests were ancillary.
