UPDATE: Authorities identify 25-year-old who died after crashing into semi-truck
WEDNESDAY, JULY 3, 2024, 2:15 p.m.
OAK GROVE, Wis. (WFRV) – The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has identified the 25-year-old Beaver Dam man who died after crashing into a semi-truck that was hauling steel on Tuesday morning.
According to an updated release, the victim was identified as Vincent R. Garza and the driver of the semi-truck was identified as Daniel La Brec from New Holstein. Additionally, the driver of the other semi-truck involved in the accident was identified as Bradley Vandrisse from Pulaski.
Oconto County deputies looking for man charged with child sexual assault who absconded from bond
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the crash.

25-year-old Wisconsin man dead after crashing into semi-truck that was hauling steel
TUESDAY, JULY 2, 2024, 8:54 a.m.
OAK GROVE, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Dodge County say a 25-year-old man is dead after crashing into a semi.
According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, on July 2 around 2:45 a.m., deputies responded to a reported car versus semi crash at County Highway A/I and County Highway W. Authorities say that an investigation showed a vehicle going north on County Highway A/I and was left of center and in the southbound lane.
A Mack semi, hauling a flatbed trailer with steel was driving southbound on County Highway A/I and hit the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, identified as a 25-year-old man from Beaver Dam reportedly died in the crash.
Numerous reports of attempted car break-ins in Two Rivers, police investigating
The driver of the semi reportedly had minor injuries. The release says a second semi was also hit by the vehicle and the driver of that semi was not injured.
The crash is still under investigation. No additional information was provided.
