$265K in damages from fire on Upper West Side

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Around $265,000 in damages is estimated from a fire that broke out on Buffalo’s Upper West Side early Friday morning, according to fire authorities.
Crews responded to 46 Herkimer Street just after 3 a.m. Friday. Officials said that the blaze began on the first floor of the home.
There were no injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
