3 Wisconsin individuals criminally charged for involvement in 2023 overdose death of a 27-year-old
NASHVILLE, Wis. (WFRV) – On April 2, 2023, the Forest County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call that reported a possible drug overdose in Nashville, Wisconsin, located in Forest County.
A 27-year-old man was found dead on the scene, and officers turned over the incident to the Forest County Drug Task Force, who began a formal investigation. A few months later, a joint agency investigation was formed and initiated, and the agencies began identifying overdose cases and deaths.

Wisconsin Department of Justice
Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigations
Drug Enforcement Administration
Chippewa Community Police Department
The first case that the task force selected was the overdose death in April 2023. Over 1,000 hours were spent, with multiple search warrants and subpoenas during the investigation. The evidence reviewed was presented to the Forest County District Attorney’s Office.

On Wednesday, the District Attorney’s Office officially came down with the criminal complaints charging the following three individuals, all from Crandon, Wisconsin:
65-year-old Steven P. Tuckwab
33-year-old Dakota S. Tuckwab
40-year-old Sheena R. Tuckwab
The three have all been charged with First Degree Reckless Homicide. No more details are available at this time.
