BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A dispute between juveniles allegedly motivated two adults to open fire on a house in Lockport in 2022, according to the Niagara County District Attorney’s Office.

According to officials, 50-year-old Christina Knight-McCoy of Lockport drove five other people, including a juvenile, to a home on Hawley Street on Nov. 7. It is alleged that at least two people stepped out of the vehicle to fire over 20 rounds into the house.

Officials said a dispute between juveniles earlier in the day was the motivation for the shooting.

Residents of the house were sleeping at the time and were not injured. A police chase ensued before Knight-McCoy was stopped on South Street. Three guns were located in the vehicle, officials said.

Four people, including Knight-McCoy, pled guilty in connection with the incident.

Knight-McCoy pleaded guilty to first-degree reckless endangerment. She faces up to seven years in prison if convicted.

Knight-McCoy’s twin sister, 50-year-old Bettina Knight of Rochester, pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a firearm and faces up to four years in prison if convicted.

Timothy Jones, 31, and Quannell Armstrong, 27, both pleaded guilty to second-degree attempted criminal possession of a weapon and face up to seven years each. They are both from Rochester.
