6-year-old to speak at Canisius University for AI summer series

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 6-year-old is scheduled to speak at Canisius University in July during their “Conversations on AI” summer series, the University announced Wednesday.

Katrina Herrington will be hosting “Magic Making: Unleashing AI Adventures for All” at 6 p.m. on July 23. The young girl will discuss her imaginary friend “Ukulele” and how she was able to bring him to life through AI. She hopes to inspire other youth to play with AI and make their own AI worlds, too.

The event will take place at Science Hall Commons. You can click here to register.
